Biography

Dr. Luis Abraham Mata, a graduate of Hanks High School and now a board certified Vascular Surgeon, is returning to the borderland region, after practicing in Tampa, Florida, where he specialized in the treatment of patients afflicted with arterial and venous disease. Dr. Mata is enthusiastic about returning home to fulfill his aspirations of working with and aiding patients in El Paso and Southern New Mexico.

Dr. Mata is also a contributing author of several medical research papers, books and studies in the field of vascular surgery. He is committed to continue his life long education on vascular surgery and medicine. He plans to be a leader in his community and hopes to have a positive and lasting impact on the lives of his patients.
