A leader in the treatment of vein disease with extensive training and experience in interventional radiology, Dr. Furlong attended medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the UMKC-Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri and proceeded with a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Both residency and fellowship training were with strong emphasis on interventional procedures.
Dr. Furlong is the founder of Physician’s Vascular Services Clinic and is deeply committed to helping each and every one of his patients understand their individual diagnosis, treatment options, and treatment plans. Dr. Furlong has been recognized by referring practitioners (many of whom are also his patients) as “patient-centric” for his efforts in ensuring every aspect of patients’ experiences at Physician’s Vascular Services Clinics are positive ones.
